Product Highlights

1. Diverse Materials, Flexible Choices

Our disposable food containers come in a variety of materials, including plastic, paper, starch-based, wood, and metal.

Plastic options primarily feature Polypropylene (PP) and Polystyrene (PS);

Paper containers feature a polyethylene coating, withstanding temperatures up to 90°C;

Starch-based options utilize plant fibers like corn starch and rice husks and are biodegradable;

Wood-based options are made from natural materials like bamboo fiber, offering an eco-friendly, sustainable choice.

2. Safe, Hygienic, and Food-Grade

These high-quality disposable containers are manufactured using food-grade raw materials; they are non-toxic, odorless, and tasteless. PP material does not absorb microwaves and is safe for use in microwave ovens. The product complies with national safety standards for food-contact materials, ensuring safety and reliability during food contact.

3. Lightweight, durable, and high-performance

Disposable food containers offer advantages such as ease of processing, low cost, and light weight. PP material features low density and superior strength, rigidity, hardness, and heat resistance compared to low-pressure polyethylene; it withstands temperatures ranging from -20°C to 120°C. It is virtually unaffected by common acids, alkalis, and organic solvents.

4. Leak-proof sealing; heat and freshness retention

The product is designed with a focus on sealing and leak-proof performance. The lidded structure effectively prevents soup or sauce spills while providing excellent heat retention, ensuring meals remain at the right temperature and fresh during delivery.

Application Areas

Disposable food containers have a wide range of applications, including:

·Food delivery: Food delivery accounts for 30% of disposable container usage, with the highest concentration (43%) occurring during lunch hours.

·Fast-food chains: Packaging for items like hamburgers, fried chicken, and french fries.

·Corporate cafeterias: Distribution and delivery of employee meals.

·Schools and hospitals: Centralized meal service for students and patients.

·Outdoor activities: Picnics, camping, parties, etc.

·Convenience stores and supermarkets: Retail packaging for ready-to-eat foods.

·Aviation and railway catering: Meal service during travel.

·Specialty scenarios: Takeout for soup-based dishes such as dumplings, noodle soups, wontons, malatang (spicy hot pot), hot and sour glass noodles, and rice noodles.

Market Trends and Development Directions

1. Continued global market growth

The global disposable food container market size is approximately 229.43 billion RMB in 2025 and is projected to reach nearly 278.35 billion RMB by 2032. Total global consumption of disposable food containers exceeded 680 billion units in 2025. As the world's largest producer and consumer, China exported 127 billion units in 2025, accounting for 41% of global trade volume.

2. Accelerated adoption of biodegradable materials

Driven by global policies restricting plastic use, the market share of biodegradable food containers is rising rapidly. By 2025, the market share of biodegradable products is projected to rise to 35.8%, an increase of 21 percentage points from 2022. In the global disposable food container market, the share of biodegradable materials is expected to surge from 18% in 2020 to 42% by 2026. Derived from renewable resources such as corn, PLA (polylactic acid) is biodegradable under composting conditions and has become a key alternative to traditional plastic tableware.

3. Policy-Driven Industry Transformation

Seventy-eight countries and regions worldwide have already implemented bans or restrictions on single-use plastic products. China’s updated plastic restriction policy explicitly mandates a biodegradation rate of≥90% as a market entry standard for food containers. The new standard GB/T 18006.1-2025 officially took effect on March 1, 2026, further regulating industry quality requirements.

Usage Tips

1. When handling extremely hot oil, allow the contents to cool slightly before filling the container to minimize softening of the material.

2. Always open the lid when heating in a microwave; do not heat with the container fully sealed.

3. Avoid storing foods that are high in oil or salt, or at high temperatures, for extended periods. These containers are intended for single use; repeated, long-term reuse is not recommended.

4. GRS PP disposable food containers are consumable items.
